Hi my name is Tina Clarke I run Tiny’s home boarding, I set up in November 2019 licensed by Newark and Sherwood and given 4 star rating.
I have a secure garden, 3 gates to go threw to get to the garden and all have secure key locks. We also have 4 cctv cameras located around the outside of the house, to monitor the dogs and who’s coming and going.
Inside we allow boarding dogs to have the run of the downstairs with my dog Maisie (chocolate Labrador) also known as the nanny. We allow them on the sofa if they wish, but also tell customer if they have their own bed, to bring it with them so they can choose to have their own space.
We recommend arrange a meet and greet so we can see how your dog/dogs are with us and my Labrador, also how they react with the environment. We also suggest if your dog/dogs seem slightly unsure/nervous to book a night stay with us to see how they get on, before booking for a longer stay.
My names Tina Clarke I run Tiny’s home boarding, I have been brought up with dogs from a young age. I had a beagle that I took to shows with my mum, new from then that I had a passion for dogs.
With what life throws at you, I didn’t manage to pursue that career. But now as my daughter kay pursued her career working with dogs as a dog groomer, I manged to get back into working with dogs threw helping kay in the salon and after 6 years of working with and helping kay, I took the plunge with the help from kay to apply for dog boarding license and thankfully we got approved. Been running since November 2019. I’m so glad I took the plunge and have never been happier with my job/hobby.
